Overview

About the project

Tiny Play Dates brings local parents together, to arrange playdates, discover nearby family events, and buy, sell, or give away children’s items. We took it from concept to a polished cross-platform app on a single codebase.

The challenge

Parents juggle busy schedules and scattered channels, WhatsApp groups, local boards, resale apps, with no single trusted place built around their kids’ ages and neighbourhood. The product needed to feel safe, effortless, and genuinely local.

Our approach

We shaped the core loops, connect, meet, and exchange, into a simple, warm interface, then engineered it on Flutter with a Supabase backend for realtime data, auth, and notifications. Location and age-based discovery keep every feed relevant.
